Philip Plourde is a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel with more than 30 years of experience working with Veterans from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Space Force over the 11 Combatant Commands.
Philip has worked as Medical Group Commander with the Air Force in charge of over 100 Medical Professionals who had a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear (CBRN) National Response mission and the responsibility to maintain the Medical Readiness of 1200 Airman. He also was the lead Medical Planner for the Southeast Region of the United States who has specialized training and experience in contingency operations planning medical readiness, homeland security / defense, and military civil support. He has significant knowledge of the National Guard’s medical capabilities and can effectively and efficiently match operational capabilities with requirements in Defense Support of Civil Authorities (DSCA).
Additionally, he has in-depth training and knowledge of emergency preparedness concepts and the understanding of federal, non-federal, state, and local health authority response processes.
Philip earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree in Health Care Management from New Hampshire University System.
Specific areas of expertise: Strategic Planning, Project Management, Organizational Development, and Financial Cost Control.
